The objective of the New Conversation is to view life, circumstances, and people from the sacred text of Scripture or from the perspective of how God sees things down here. Therefore, I try not to name-drop by mentioning names, movements, and events, whether religious, political, or social. Rather, I change the narrative and conversation. Why? Because most people today are overly sensitive and subjective and take too many things personally. Therefore, "direct" confrontation with verifiable truth becomes offensive to them. I know what Scripture says about offense, but this is not about preaching the gospel. It's about "being wise as serpents and harmless as doves,” which creates an opportunity to have a civil conversation about the issues.

According to historians and sacred text scholars, it’s a true story of disastrous struggles and sufferings that he overcame and bounced back from with twice as much as he had before his ruin. It’s about his traumas, troubles, and problems that we all fall prey to in life. The difference is that when a True Believer falls, they fall on God’s Grace Cushion and bounce back. It poses the question about the brokenness of humanity living in a fallen world. So, if we are all broken people how does that work for overcoming our failures and the effects of the wounds, bruises, and injuries inflicted on our lives? However, it’s not about perpetual brokenness, rather it’s about perpetual healing. Job is a living miracle of divine intervention into the normal course of life of God’s beloved Covenant People. But God living in our hearts is a miracle too! Nevertheless, we cannot exclude God from living in our circumstances and coming into the affairs of our lives (by invitation) to make things better. That becomes the missing element of a transformed life that this book covers among other timely therapeutic topics! Each page is filled with quotable quotes and each chapter begins with an overview of the chapter.

Reading my book is like watching a ‘Psychological Thriller’ that may start a little slow, but heats up for the climax.

My inspiration for this book comes from the character Job and the repeated requests for my sermon of the same title to become a book. However, Watchman Nee’s book, “The Normal Christian Life” which I read early in my formative years as a Believer also inspired me. However, the normal Christian life looks abnormal to traditional religious mindsets. Consequently, the in-depth insight into the original languages of God-inspired Scripture in this book elicits a “hah” interjection from traditional Christians. So I don’t think that they are ready for the depth of God’s Word in this book (John 16:13-14) because they may see the stories in Scripture as unrealistic and fail to see the humanity of the significant characters. So, read it with a grain of salt . . . .

Maybe you feel like this kind of book is not for you because you are not broken. But, maybe you know people who have been deeply hurt, rejected, abandoned, and betrayed in some way, and need help. Or, others who have experienced mental, emotional, or some form of physical abuse.
