IS FREE SPEECH INTERPRETED BY “WHO” SAYS “WHAT”?
Is “Free Speech” Biased? Does Free Speech Have A Double Standard That Says It Is Okay For The Dominant Culture Of Any Society To Say And Do Something, But Not The Minority Culture? Double Standards Is Another Way Of Saying Something Is Hypocritical. Their “Ways” Can Be Compared To The Scribes And Pharisees In Christ’s Day: “Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men…” (Matthew 23;2-5a). They Quoted And Misquoted The Mosaic Law, But Violated It Themselves. Unlike Them, We Are Obligated To Adhere To The “Moral Law” Called The “Ten Commandments” That Fulfills The Law Of The Land (Romans 13:8-10). Furthermore, Their Far-Right Interpretation Of Unity Means Conformity. Like The Three Hebrew Boys In Daniel 3, We Are Not Obligated By God To Bend The Knee And Bow To Their Pied Pipers. And Like The Hebrew Boys, God Will Deliver His People From Oppression.
Note: Throughout Scripture And History, God’s Deliverance Applies To A Minority Of True Believers, Following The Ways Of Righteousness And Calling On The Name of the Lord. Why? Because The Battle On Earth Begins In The Heavenlies (Ephesians 6:10-13) And There God Rules The Majority. Actually, God Rules All But Grants Free Will To Intervene Into The Affairs Of Life. Consequently, Evil People Seek Not Only To Overthrow People But Also Try To Overthrow God’s Revealed Will Making It “Unbelief” Or The “Unpardonable Sin.” Therefore, God Only Works Through The Free Will Of True Believers And They Can Be Less Than Those Who Oppose Him. When The Syrians Tried To Ambush Elisha Because He Prophesied Truth to Power And Exposed Their Plans, This Is What Happened:
“So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kings 6:16-17). “One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the Lord God who fights for you, just as he promised you” (Joshua 23:10)
Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ” 6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
