Introduction to Spiritual-Prophetic Warfare Through Prayer!!!
—The Urgency of Prayer—
Why God’s Covenant People (Known as the Church Made Up of Jews & Gentiles) Should Change the Narrative and the Conversation & Come Together Across Ethnic/Cultural Lines
I’ll begin by qualifying my writing objective. The objective is to view life, circumstances, and people from the Kingdom of God concepts disclosed in Scripture without name-dropping. Therefore, change the narrative and conversation . . . I do not name particular “people,” “movements,” or “events” whether religiously or politically represented, except in some cases of historical examples. They all remain anonymous because of the divisive nature of opinions about such people and movements. People should remain free to make their choices regarding who they are influenced by and follow by comparing certain characteristics that are either destructive evil or constructive good. I say that because from a spiritual perspective, some people are influenced by evil and some are influenced by good and we must be able to distinguish those characteristics before making a decision.
—Part One—
THESIS: Just as Scripture proclaims “all” Scripture contains some Predictive Prophecy, all “major” events in time and life have been predicted from the Genesis Saga to the Revelation Restitution. To understand biblical prophecy it becomes a matter of relating the pertinent text and passages to current times.
Every Book of Scripture has a percentage of predictive prophecy (2 Peter 1:20–21) because it is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16). It becomes of matter of the researcher of prophetic utterance in Scripture to find those places of prophecy. Also, because inspired Scripture comes to us through human personality, we must look past human error and translation hermeneutics (translators’ spin on the original languages) by comparing the varying common language idioms of the different authors that may appear to conflict and come to a collaborative consistent conclusion because Scripture interprets itself.
Predictive Prophecy is either encoded in cryptic language, symbolically represented, or spread out requiring connecting the dots. It must be consistent throughout for verification. But in the end, Scripture predicts every major event from generation to generation. Here we will look at the signs of our times. For those of you who may not be aware; we are living in “prophetic times.” That shouldn't be unusual to hear because every generation from the beginning of time has gone through a semblance of prophetic times that overlap proceeding generations. So, what we see in the old can be reflected in the new. One scriptural example comes from Christ’s words in Matthew 24:37, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.”
—Part Two—
. . . In the context of prophetic times, I will begin with a treatise about Divine Providence to encourage and embolden you which depends on your faith perspective. God’s Providence is about how the God of the Universe takes care of the universe, our world, and all people in the world. Note that I said all people in the world, not just Israelites and the Church. Scripture declares that God sends His sunshine and rain on the good and evil and watches over the sparrow and even the blade of grass (Matthew 5:45; Matthew 10:29-31). That’s an indication of God’s love for His Creation. It means that God is not biased or prejudiced in His love for all of humanity. Romans 2:11, “For there is no respect of persons with God.” So, in His Wise Providence God Does Not Endorse Any Form Of Racism, Xenophobia, or Prejudice. If anyone who claims to be a Christian is an advocate of racial discrimination and hate, they are lying about being a Christian. Nonetheless, although people are not born good or evil, rather innocent; people can be nurtured to become good or evil from their environment.
According to Genesis 3:15, there is the Seed of the woman (Christ) and the seed of the serpent (a reference to the antichrist). Just as Christ (genealogically) came down historically through a righteous seed of diversified people recorded in Scripture by identifying with all ethnicities; the seed of the antichrist will come down genetically through evil people as an austere ruler declaring one dominant race and will persecute the seed of the woman. It began with Cain slaying Abel. Note that it begins with racial persecution and hatred for Jews and ethnically mixed people; even as the Jews during Christ’s time exalted themselves as the dominant race above the racially, ethnically, culturally, and religiously mixed Samaritans. They believed that God promised to make them the head of State in the Promised Land and overthrow their Roman oppressors. When Christ didn’t do that, they rejected Him as the Messiah. However, they will receive the antichrist as the messiah for the reasons mentioned. But once the antichrist launches persecution against them, they will turn to Christ because their spiritual eyes will be opened.
As I prepare to delve into “spiritual warfare through prayer,” I’ll begin and end with a provocative view and explanation of divine providence from generation to generation, and how it appears in our generation. God’s providence is sovereign and the major events that were predicted in Scripture will happen with or without the major players. THE STATE OF THE PROPHETIC TIMES WILL DICTATE THE PEOPLE WHO WILL RISE AND FALL, NOT THE PEOPLE. Scripture states in Psalms 75:7, “but God is the Judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.” In context, it doesn’t mean that God randomly selects some people because of who they are and rejects others. It means that in the aftereffect, God judges the evil people and they will fall and another good person will arise who accepts God’s plan based on the times. That is to say, good times will always follow bad times. Keep that in mind when we explore divine providence. Now, let me give you a historical example of what I mean:
—Part Three—
. . . Let me give you some historical examples that will raise some eyebrows: IF IT WASN’T HITLER, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOMEONE ELSE. IF IT WASN’T MARTIN LUTHER KING JR., IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOMEONE ELSE. ASIDE FROM PEOPLE, DIVINE PROVIDENCE IS ABOUT THE PROPHETIC EVENTS OF TIME. Note Galatians 4:4, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law”, and John 7:6, “Then Jesus said unto them, “My time is not yet come, but your time is always ready.” Also, after quoting Isaiah 61:1 and saying that it was now fulfilled in their ears, all the people in the synagogue became furious and drove him out of town and wanted to throw Him off the cliff, but He walked right through the crowd and went His way to the next town (Luke 4:14-30). Why? Because it was not His time. In that context, we will see it is not the devil’s time in our generation. His chosen vessels will rise and fall.
GOD’S PROVIDENCE MOVES EXPONENTIALLY TOWARDS THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S ETERNAL PLAN OF SALVATION AND REDEMPTION. It’s not the people who rise and fall that will determine the times, it’s the prophetic events of time. It’s the prophetic events of time that will happen with or without major people. That’s exactly why God’s Eternal Word and Kingdom will not fail or fall. GOD PREDESTINES THE EVENTS OF TIME, NOT PEOPLE. GOD’S PROVIDENCE PREVENIENTLY LEADS TO THE FULLNESS OF TIME WHEN HIS KINGDOM WILL BE FILLED WITH THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.
As God works through free will and the power of choice of people, God leaves it up to them to choose between good and evil as we see in Joshua 24:15a, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve…” Yes, God is “working through” free will of the person’s volition because it is free will that conforms to God’s call of salvation and restitution. GOD DOES NOT FORCE HIS PLANS ON ANYONE OR COERCE THEM TO FOLLOW HIM. THAT WAY HIS KINGDOM BECOMES ENDURING IN THE COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE PEOPLE. “Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed in Him, “If ye continue in My Word, then are ye My disciples indeed” (John 8:31).
—Part Four—
. . . The events of time, not people, expose Satan’s evil plans to reveal God’s good gracious plan for humanity. Just as there would be no sunshine without some rain, there would be no good without evil. Just as Scripture says, we would not know sin without the law revealing sin, we would not know the reality of Christ without evil standing out from good. Evil hides behind a thin veneer of good, but the goodness of God pulls the cover off of its evil intent and reveals Satan’s plans whether in politics, religion, government, business, or society.
But hear this again: God does not manipulate or tamper with their “free will” and power of choice like a computer programmer or by breaking their will. That would violate God’s nature of Love that builds His enduring Kingdom where God’s people are in 100% agreement with God. Instead, God knows, through His foreknowledge who will invite the devil to use them for evil destruction and who will invite the Lord to work through them for good. So God continues to build the good progressively through time by revealing evil people who willfully oppose His Will so that we see the difference between good and evil people. Example: As you will see from upcoming blog posts, the Jews purposely allowed themselves to be blind to Christ as the Messiah. But when the “fullness” of the Gentiles comes to pass, and the antichrist is revealed and begins to persecute them, then they will know that Christ is the Messiah and the Kingdom of God will come to fruition in the New Jerusalem. Providence is all about God’s Eternal Plan of Salvation and Redemption.
—Part Five—
. . . Concerning God’s Providence, it appears from translations that God can raise one and put down another which means it’s not about the people but about how God orchestrates and directs His Eternal Plan of Redemption through time. God will allow or permissively decree evil to rise, only to be put down by good people.
God’s Purpose Is To Expose Evil Despotic Leaders Who Crush Humanity By Usurping The Position Of God To Reveal Good Leaders Who Love God And Humanity.
At the same time, it exposes evil corrupt oppressive politics and policies in government, religion, business, and society. Here’s how it looks: Evil can look like good and appear to be winning for a time only to be defeated by good because God will not allow a hostile takeover of His world by His arch-enemy, Satan. YOU’LL SEE THAT IN THIS GENERATION. IT IS NOT “THE DEVIL’S TIME” SO WE SHOULD NOT BE DECEIVED BY POLITICS OR RELIGIOUS LIES AND DECEPTION OR AFRAID OF THE IDLE THREATS OF VIOLENCE THAT INTIMIDATE. It’s a smokescreen to back believers in the corner to submit to their demonic demands. SO AT THE END OF EVERY UPRISING AND UPHEAVAL WHERE GOOD CONFLICTS WITH EVIL, IT WILL ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED WITH A TIME OF RENEWAL AND RESTITUTION. IT WILL ALSO REVEAL TRUE DISCIPLES OF THE LORD AND THE HARVEST THAT IS RIPE FOR REAPING.
A good scenario of God’s divine providence can be seen in Romans chapters 8-11. I will summarize God’s Divine Providence from Romans 8:28-31 in the conclusion of these blogs. From the perspective of God’s Providence, major events in life that affect the populous of people are preordained under God’s foreknowledge, meaning God will intervene in those events upon invitation and cause them to work in His favor and for our good (2 Chronicles 7:14). God uses bad times to make people better and motivates people to have better days. But Disciples of the Lord, following the Ways of the Lord, must come together and Pray!
