Getting Started

The process begins by developing an online platform for what I call “The Gathering of Grace” with a page for sharing and interacting with each other’s stories and a YouTube Page to link to each participant’s YouTube account (that we will help set up) as a means of sharing their personal projects, information, and updates. The objective of unity will be developed through a ten-part mini “life Lesson” called “Common Ground Pragmatic Agreement” based on sharing three aspects of one’s history: 1) Where the person came from geographically, conditions in the home, the environment and social conditions around them; 2) What they went through that hurt them and did they overcome; 3) How, who, and what helped them to get to where they are. Those life lessons will be posted on the “Life Lessons” page with a link to download. There will be another ten-part mini-life lesson called “Foundation for Family Forums” (also downloadable) to be used with their families that they conduct. The objective is to address the baggage (dead weight) of the past, tactfully, without embarrassment, and without unloading the skeletons in the closet that bury pastunresolved unreconciled issues that divide.

MIDDLE MISSION PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE: MIDDLE MISSION Is not a Church. MIDDLE MISSION is a para-church Mission To “Enable” Home Mission Cell Groups With Funding For Nonprofit Purposes to Empower Their Groups to Reach their Families and Friends and Reach Out to their Respective Communities at Large. The Concept Of MIDDLE MISSION Comes From Mobilizing In Communities Of Need.

THE PROCESS: The process of Development and Organization begins with completing the nonprofit status documents that are already in place to be completed with CONSENSUS of the Board of Directors.

THE TARGET AUDIENCE: The primary participants are people of all faiths from all places across the globe who are “unaffiliated” with any religious organization or church. However, they may be affiliated with other religious organizations and attend different churches, but we do not encourage those who are church members to participate in that it may conflict with the theology and doctrine of their member church.

THE SERVICE MODEL: In Scripture, the term “ministry” comes from service. MIDDLE MISSION will be an online (Incorporated) “service” platform that “spearheads”the development of “Home Mission Cell Groups” in various homes across the places where participants live. The nonprofit status of MIDDLE MISSION is non-member participants with no fiduciary obligations. All offerings and donations will be “free will offerings.” Other sources and benefits of funding will come from foundations and other funding sources developed by the central organization. There will be a Central Bank for deposits and transfers of the Central Organization, but each home cell group will have its “own” local bank where they make deposits from their fundraising efforts and transfers between the central organization. (Nonprofit Status Prefers That) Each home cell group will have its “own” point person, secretary, and treasurer. They are requested to give proportionately (of their free will) to the central platform bank as they see fit monthly to sustain the business of the corporation. Their remaining balances are used as they see fit for the groups' nonprofit purpose under the auspices of the central organization.

COMPOSITION OF HOME MISSION GROUPS: The home mission cell groups will be composed of three to seven to eight people and grow from there with participants by group consensus. Their meetings will focus on reaching their families, friends, and communities at large. The Home Mission Cell Groups will Network with other Home Mission Cell Groups through the Point Person and meet once a week on the most convenient designated day and time with the Founder over Google Meet.

Meeting Structure: Please keep in mind that MIDDLE MISSION is not a church but a para-church mission. Home Cell Group meetings can occur anytime and place with the consensus of the group and can consist of prayer, testimony, worship, and fellowship with the central organization that will be held weekly on Mondays from 7-8 PM for the Founder's Life Lessons. The Life Lessons will consist of Training and Commissioning in the following:

FAITH STEPS PLANNING: Faith Steps Planning is not based on corporate/business plans but exclusively taken from God’s Word and means that we will not know the second step until we take the first step, and so on…Scripture states that we walk by faith, live by faith, and go from faith to faith…Correlated with the journeys of the Children of Israel it was under Moses and then Josuah that we see faith steps, which means when entering the Promises of God, the Priesthood, followed by the people had to step foot in the water before the Jordan receded. Then they had to march around the fortified city of Jericho before the walls came down. It means they never would have known that the walls would fall until they stepped into the water. I call these faith steps "THROWING OUT THE LIFELINE.”

TRAINING & COMMISSIONING: The objective is to “Train” and “Commission” Disciples of the Lord (Spiritual Warriors) by “Equipping” them with“Spiritual Gifts,” the practical application of “The Armor of God,” a working “Knowledge of Spiritual Warfare,” how to “Pray in the Spirit,” and “Urban-Rural Evangelism.” Training and Commissioning will also entail teachings on “the Gift of Discernment” that will create “spiritual awareness” of people, the times, and circumstances that will also enable the “Identification of Spiritual Strongholds” that resist the “Kingdom Gospel.” Simplistic Demographics will be discussed to enable the identification of ideal geographical areas to develop the “Outpost” Ministry. Navigating will include charts and diagrams for effective outreach ministry.

PARTICIPANT ROLES: Because we are living in prophetic times and the Acts of the Heroes and Heroines of the Old Testament and the Acts of the Early Church, the role of participants will be as “Disciples of the Lord” in the real world where they live, work, and play.

FAITH STEPS PLANNING

Faith-based planning focuses on walking by faith, relying solely on God’s Word. The next steps are revealed as each previous step is taken.

Key Scriptural References:

MIDDLE MISSION APPROACH TO LIFE LESSONS

Two Formats To Middle Mission

Life Lessons Approach

As founder and president of MIDDLE MISSION; and retired professor with 50 years of research and study under my belt; what I share are life lessons for three reasons: 1) They are relative to the life of Christ (Yeshua) in His humanity; 2) Consequently, they are relevantto our humanity; 3) They are pragmatic or practical in application.

The pragmatic approach means these life lessons bring higher truth about the “Word of the Lord” down to common ground by “unpacking,” the original meaning of Scripture compared to history, where we live, work, and play in everyday life experiences; and where the “rubber meets the road” to find our “personal” truth. In other words, they are “tailor-made” “…If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31b-32).

There are two formats of MIDDLE MISSION designed to equip the participants with “tools” and “gear them up” to overcome the odds against them in life-love relationships, career pursuits, and ministry pursuits.

· The first format is “The New Conversation. The New Conversation changes the narrative about life experiences and encounters by focusing on characteristics, and patterns of behavior to profile personality without naming persons, places, or organizations. In other words, the conversation or dialog is taken out of the political, religious, or social arenas to avoid divisive arguments, thus changing the conversation but the participant will be able to apply the characteristics, patterns, and profiles to make quality decisions for better direction.

· The second format is “Biblical Prophecy Real Talk.Biblical Prophecy Real Talk focuses on predictive prophecy recorded in the original manuscripts (languages) of Scripture. The predictive prophecy that has been inspired by God and written by chosen vessels is correlated to current times and situations; and also to the nature of the universe where God is seen as One with Creation. Sacred prophecy that comes through the “gift” of prophecy (1 Corinthians 12:10 and Romans 12:6) is not doom and gloom. Rather, it speaks directly to immediate situations to “admonish” and “encourage” believers to prepare for the future. The objective is to equip participants with spiritual weapons of warfare to identify and defeat evil spiritual opposition by “binding the spirit” and identify the generational “spirit of antichrist” that affects the attitudes and moods of people in society.
